Edwards, Founder and CEO of Austin Diversified Products, Inc. doesn’t have time to talk or think about a sluggish economy. He’s too busy making major changes with his 29-year old company and its signature product ADVANAGE Wonder Cleaner. “We moved our manufacturing operations to Chicago because we wanted our corporate and manufacturing staffs to be closer and more interactive,” said Nathan Edwards. “The move will also create jobs here in Illinois, and that’s always a good thing. Improving our products and growing our sales channels is something we’ve been doing since we started some 29 years ago. New and better product products, more sales and happier customers always pay off, regardless of the economy.” The first step was taken three months ago when the Company decided to move its manufacturing operations from Atlanta, GA to Chicago, IL. This was done to bring manufacturing closer to the Company’s Harvey, IL corporate Headquarters and to make it easier for the Company’s management to have more direct involvement in new product development. The second step was most crucial. You don’t change a product with over 20 million customers without a compelling reason… which in this case came in the form of the Company’s patented Surfactant System. By adding its Surfactant to its proprietary ADVANGE formulation, ADVANGE’s emulsification properties have been enhanced significantly.
